georgian glass + garden goals!

SHOOT DAY – Walked off the main street into this beautiful leafy oasis in north London, a gorgeous proper London townhouse, complete with sash windows, original shutters, parquet floors and coved full height ceilings! Exciting times… n then
… I actually gasped when I turned the corner and saw this garden just streaming in through the floor to ceiling glass. I had just nipped down to go to the loo and having witnessed the Georgian glory upstairs was not anticipating such sights as I went lower! Obviously the full height sliding doors are the standout feature in this space enabling all that lovely green to flood in, but what was also really well thought out was the use of the large fossil tile that went throughout this space. From the floors, into the bathroom, on the walls and out to the garden (or an exterior version that looked near identical in tone) Resulting in the whole area feeling seamless and luxe and I loved it! Also who doesn’t love spotting a fossil..?! Spent most of the morning picking my favourite one out during each loo visit/tea grab/… perpetual cycle right there!
The lush garden in this property really is the absolute jaw drop factor though… I can’t think of anything* I’d rather on my walls than getting to stare at this beautiful ever changing view (Keanu Reeves live feed/tropical beach/northern lights/alpine views not included) but yes seeing all this gorgeous colour flooding the whole floor is really special. I was so lucky to witness this is its spring glory with the roses and rhododendrons twinkling back in!
